Chromatic Fusionism
Our philosophy, and our position on AI as a tool — with a human in every step.
A living statement — this is our starting draft, and it will grow into a full illustrated flipbook.
The philosophy
Chromatic Fusionism is the belief that a finished work is a fusion — many hands, many tools, and many passes of light blended into a single image the way colors fuse on a canvas. No one brushstroke is the painting. In the same way, no single step here — a lyric, a take, a card, a page — is the work. The work is the human choosing, arranging, correcting, and signing what all the steps produced.
AI is a tool, not the author
We use AI the way a composer uses an instrument or a painter uses a brush: to reach further, faster. It drafts; it never decides. Every draft is handed back to a person to judge and shape. The author is the human. The machine is the tool.
A human at every step
Our whole design puts a person at each seam of the pipeline — writing, chunking a story into cards, choosing the take, tuning the timing, approving each frame. We keep a record of those human touches and can hand it to a producer or a copyright officer, so the authorship is visible, not assumed.
With or without AI
You can turn the AI off. Do the whole thing by hand — write it, shoot it, record it, lay it out. It will take longer, and that is exactly the point: the craft is the point. AI is here to help when you want it, and to get out of the way when you don’t.
